The apple didn’t fall far, but the fall may have caused head trauma.

One fine day, there was a mosquito onomatopoeia-ing around my classroom, much to the chagrin of some of my students.  Some of them tried shooing them, others tried smashing them against the desks, all to no avail as Jack Bauer the mosquito would not be stopped.  One of my students decided that she knew how to foil Jack’s plans.  She commented/asked:

“Mister Karabekian, my dad told me that the best way to kill a mosquito is to catch it and then throw it in the air.  Is that true?”

  1. That. Is. An. Absolutely.

    BRILLIANT CONCEPT!

She should share that with the world, and all pest control technicians shall receive training on this practice immediately.

  2. i think she means catch the mosquito and let it go out side hahaha thats cute hahaha.

my neice might have said something like that.

  3. It is AMAZING what this age group takes away from conversations. It’s as if they take 2% of the words used and come up with a whole new reality. Just imagine what she says about what her teachers say!
